All accountants and auditors are required to perform their duty in an independent and ethical fashion in accordance IAASA’s Ethical Standards and with their governing institute guidelines which derived from the IESBA Code of Ethics.
This online CPD course will focus on both the 2018 International Code of Ethics for Professional Accounts as issued by the International Ethics Standard Board for Accountants (“IESBA”), which is effective from 15 June 2019 and the key independence / ethical issues for auditors arising from IAASA’s Ethical Standards.
This online CPD course will cover:
- Overview of the IESBA Code of Ethics for Accountants;
- Fee issues – understanding and documenting the issue and applying safeguards;
- Non-audit services – understanding and documenting the issue and applying safeguards; and
- Long association – understanding and documenting the issue and applying safeguards.
